RTN MPHF CA.DEV ANAND was born on 31-05-1959 in Airody Village, Sastan, Brahmavar Taluk (erstwhile Udupi) of Udupi District. After B.com graduation he went to Bangalore for doing Articleship for CA course. After passing CA exam, started his own CA Practice at Udupi in the year 1987 under the Name and style M/S DEV ANAND & CO, Chartered Accountants.

He Joined Rotary club of Brahmavar in the month of November 1988 and became President of RC Brahmavar in the year 1993-94. He has taken transfer from RC Brahmavar to RC Udupi in the month of December 2000.During the year 2003 he was appointed as GSR for new club Rotary Udupi Mid-Town which was formed & chartered during October 2003. Later transferred from RC Udupi to his present club RC Udupi Mid-Town in the of month June 2004. Also became Assistant Governor for Zone-2 in the year 2005-06.

He served in District level in various capacities in erstwhile District 3180 & present District 3182 since 1994 to till date. He has Attended International Convention at Bangkok in 2012 and at Melbourne in 2023.

He Served as Chairman of Udupi Branch of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in the year 2006-07. President of Sastan Service Co- Operative Bank Ltd., Sastan 1991 to 1997. President of Udupi District Lawn Tennis Association from 2015 to till date and President, Secretary, Treasurer, Director or office bearer  of various associations/Trusts etc in and around Udupi District.

Playing Tennis, Shuttle badminton, Cricket and Travelling etc are his hobby.

Married to CA. Rekha and she is also Partner in M/S DEV ANAND & CO Chartered Accountants, Udupi. Had one Son CA. AADIT DEVANAND, B. Com, ACA, MBA(IIMB), CFA(USA) working as consultant for MNC and daughter-in-law CA.Madhushree is also qualified chartered Accountant, practicing CA at Udupi and had one Daughter AKSHITA DEVANAND, married and son-in-law Ashwin is software engineer & settled in USA with grand son Arihan.
