MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS IN SCHOOL
Rtn.Suparna Shetty, IPP & CEO of Eterna Infotech, successfully concluded two impactful days of well-being screening across four remarkable institutions:
🔹 Heggunje Rajeeva Shetty Government PU College, Halady
🔹 Charmakki Narayana Shetty Govt High School, Ardi
🔹 Avarse Govt High School
🔹 GPUC (High School Section), Goliangadi
This is in collaboration with GiveMeFive Australia in the first place and executed jointly by Lions Club team of Goliangadi & Rotary Club of Manipal Hills
The purpose was to address sleep, mood, attention, anxiety, and self-esteem in students, and to support the stakeholders – teachers and parents – in building a strong, emotionally resilient generation.
Survey of 600+ students and over 50 teachers with 30 second screening was carried out and discussion, not just mental health but pride, purpose, relationships, self-worth, and how we as educators and professionals must become active stakeholders in a child’s well-being,was also carried out.
